Ave started a new page for me on Facebook… there’s a link to it on the Front/Home page of this blog.
Everyone seemed to like this photo.
I wonder why?

I had my corona virus booster shot yesterday. And I got my nails clipped. Yet again!
I also met a HUUUUUge doggie at the vets. Ave thought he was a cross between a Bull Mastiff and a Great Dane because he looked a bit like both, but his mum wasn’t quite sure which breed he was. He almost scared the pee out of me.
Thankfully I managed to hold on to my bladder and my dignity.
He was quite gentle though for such a big, big dog. He didn’t bark or growl or jump at anyone, though I thought he might take his mother’s arm off the way he kept pulling at her. The vet told us that his family found him on the street last year, a tiny puppy, abandoned, with his ears clipped off. They had no clue that he’d grow up to be so big. But I’m so glad he found a good place to live and people to love him. Everyone deserves that.
Speaking of huge… I now weigh almost 5 kilos. That’s close to 11 pounds… not too fat I hope???
The vet also checked my gums and gave us a big thumbs up.
This is why…
I absolutely love having my teeth brushed. Though I wonder why Ave cheats and doesn’t put the toothpaste on every day. Hmmm… have got to get to the bottom of this!
I took a car ride the other day to meet my Grandma and Grandpa.
We were on the road for over five hours on the way down and close to that heading back.
That’s long for a first trip out of town and all in one day!
But it was so worth it!!!
I had a wonderful day.
Grandma made me lunch and she and Grandpa gave me a big bag full of doggie treats, a nice big nylon bone and loads of hugs and kisses. I also showed Grandpa how I play “Fetch”.
Then I slept like a log…
I miss them now that I’m back home… so I go chew on Grandma’s bone.
It’s only the nylon one… honest!
I just completed a month at my new home yesterday.
Ohhh… scratch out the new will you. It feels like I’ve been here forever.
Ave showed me some photos they took of me at the kennel where I was born. Seems like a lifetime ago.
So I came home on the 9th of March 2013. Handled the ride in quite well apparently, jumping about and looking out the window at the world from a nice and cozy lap…
And then I was Home…
Home…
It’s where you’re allowed to…
… Sleep like there’s no one watching
…Â Eat your asparagus raw, out of a shoe
… Act manic without any one making a huge deal out of it
… Have your crate-mate Cuddles invite his family over without asking
Yup… I’m home… and I love it here!
We had no internet for two whole days so they called the internet guy and gave him a piece of their minds.
Must’ve given him a pretty large bit of it, because there was nothing left to give me when they found this out.
I just played innocent.
And they thought they had puppy proofed the house!!!
(Wooffaws!!!)
Yesterday was Easter Sunday.
I got read to from a big book they call a Bible and I actually managed to sit still through it.
Whew!!!
I also got some new toys.
And if you read my earlier post on Hot Cross Buns you’re probably wondering if Ave made good on her promise to make me something “special” on Easter Sunday.
Well!!! …
Look what I got for lunch!!!
A Chicken Mousse Easter Bunny made of chicken, egg whites, carrots, pumpkin and celery. My Bunny also had kibble and carrot eyes and a kibble nose. with celery whiskers and carrot ears… and she came served up on a bed of boiled and sliced green beans.
I was so excited, I danced around my bowl for a couple of minutes, before finally getting down to enjoying it.
I then threw a tantrum at my next meal!
